Who We Are
At United Tel-Supply, we’re more than just a broadband equipment provider—we’re a trusted partner to hundreds of communication companies across the globe. With decades of experience, we support our customers with new and certified pre-owned equipment, asset recovery, repairs, and distribution for over 27 manufacturers.
We help build networks from the Central Office (CO) to the Customer Premises, with a product portfolio that includes active and passive equipment, OSP materials, and value-added services. Our clients choose us because we consistently deliver quality, value, integrity, and knowledge.
What We’re Looking For
We are hiring an OUTSIDE SALES REPRESENTATIVE to develop our NORTHEASTERN TERRITORY. This is not an entry-level role. We want someone with real industry experience and an established client base. Someone who understands the full broadband landscape, knows what’s needed for OSP deployment, and has been in the trenches with manufacturer partners, carriers, and contractors.
If you bring a successful sales track record, a strong industry network, and real-world experience from CO to customer premises, this role gives you the platform to thrive. At United Tel-Supply, we prioritize strategic relationships, and we’re looking for someone who builds trust, delivers solutions, and plays the long game.
If you have the relationships, the knowledge, and the drive—let’s talk. This role was built for you.
You’re a Strong Fit If You:
- Have an existing book of business with broadband providers, wireless operators, cable companies, ISPs, and/or contractors.
- Understand the industry; from CO to customer premises & can talk shop about active gear, fiber, cabinets, OSP materials, and everything in between.
- Have experience distributing for third-party partners or suppliers, and know how to manage outside inventory, logistics, and delivery expectations.
- Have network knowledge (e.g., Calix, Adtran, Cisco, etc.), and familiarity with both the equipment and the material side of network builds.
- Know outside plant (OSP) materials and construction workflows, and can help customers navigate planning, deployment, and maintenance.
- Are driven, self-motivated, and organized. You manage your territory like a business, using your CRM, hitting your goals, and proactively seeking opportunities.
- Thrive in a remote sales environment and are comfortable with extensive travel to meet customers, attend tradeshows, and close deals face-to-face.
Your Day-to-Day Will Include:
- Driving new revenue through outbound prospecting and leveraging your network of existing relationships.
- Representing our full suite of products and services, including new equipment, certified pre-owned gear, repair services, and OSP materials.
- Managing sales activity through our CRM (HubSpot).
- Meeting with customers virtually and in person to identify needs and present tailored solutions.
- Working cross-functionally with inside sales, operations, and vendor partners to support customer needs.
- Maintaining strong follow-up and long-term relationship management with key accounts.
- Attending key industry events, trade shows, and customer site visits as needed.
